The Enemy Within
Earlier this year, a few weeks after the January 6th Capitol Hill riots, a group known as Look Ahead America, headed by Matt Braynard, made an inquiry with the justice department about what seemed to be the disparate treatment of the January 6th Capitol Hill rioters. While many in America noticed the disparate treatment between these rioters and those who had engaged in political violence the previous year, the country’s leadership held their silence on the issue. It almost seemed that there was an unspoken pact amongst politicians on both sides of the political aisle to not query the seeming political persecution of Trump Supporters in the hands of America’s justice department. The media drummed the beat of white nationalists storming the capitol to stage an insurrection. In reality, by their standard, this was a mostly peaceful protest that turned into a disturbance that lasted for 4 hours. There were no caches of weapons on site, whether in plain view or hidden. Yet, this false narrative of an insurrection spread far and wide. British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, reacting to the events at the time tweeted about America having the need for a peaceful transfer of power and condemned the acts of violence. International media caught on to the story, fuelled by what seemed like glee by the ever-eager-to-spread-misinformation American corporate media. One of the local news networks in America would later air a documentary aptly titled “Downfall.” Those familiar with film will recall that this is also the name of the rather excellent historical war drama that documents Hitler’s last days in power. To them, then President Trump was and has been Hitler from 2016, the “insurrection” his final attempt to cling on to power only to be swiftly defeated and his tyranny vanquished. The insurrection narrative served as a useful capstone to then President Trump’s soon to be dead Presidency. During the events of the disturbance a seemingly dejected President Trump would appear with then First Lady and his wife, Melania Trump, to urge those at the capitol to go home. He assured them that he loved them but that peace had to prevail. America had to stand and violence was not the key. This video was taken down from social media as an incitement to violence. The narrative in the morning had evolved and CNN ran chyrons suggesting that he had unleashed rioters and violence against law makers at the Capitol. While the events at the capitol were unnecessary and tragic, it was clear from the get go that this was a riot, not an insurrection. In a now deleted article, Vice News interviewed several American journalists who describe what seems eerily close to experiencing symptoms of PTSD from the mostly peaceful protest, by their standards, at Capitol Hill. This isn’t just a mockery of America and Americans, this is how low America’s corporate media will stoop in order to further a false narrative. In an unreleased CNN segment, leaked to Project Veritas, Congress woman Alexandria Occasio Cortez would later describe having fears of sexual assault during the ensuing chaos at the Capitol. In reality, she wasn’t at the capitol building during the events of the riot. She was in her office in an adjacent building. Her office was untouched by the events of the riot. Her statements were nothing more than mere political theatre at the expense of her dignity.

When the second impeachment proceedings were filed against then President Trump, soon to be outgoing, the leading charges were incitement of an insurrection. The evidence that was presented was his speech at a rally earlier that day urging his supporters to peacefully and patriotically protest the highly contested election. There was no acknowledgement that those who took part in the riot were not part of those in attendance at his speech which took place at a different venue. In my opinion, the agitators who took part in the riot served to provide optics, whether willingly or unwillingly, of an embattled and bitter President willing to do anything to cling on to power. Recent revelations of the Whitmer Kidnapping Hoax have fuelled speculation that January 6th was what in intelligence parlance is known as a false flag event. These are events that are carried out by one group disguised as another. Often as a way to throw the scent in a particular direction or obfuscate the true intentions of an actual event. For many, the Capitol Hill riots are seen as false flag event because the timing was suspicious and the very nature of the riots achieved the opposite of the desired effect. Adding fuel to a fire that wasn’t, the New York Times fabricated a hoax about Officer Brian Sicknick of the Capitol Hill Police Department being bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher. When this hoax fell apart, they invented a new one about him dying of a heart attack due to mace being used by some of the Capitol Hill rioters. A lie that was disproven just as quickly as the first one. Yet one that endures and one that has dealt a devastating blow to any hope for reprieve the January 6th detainees had. Strangely, two men remain incarcerated over the death of officer Sicknick: George Tanios and Julian Khater. Julie Kelly of American Greatness opines that the main reason for their continued incarceration and denial of bail is the thought crime of doubting the legitimacy of last year’s election outcome. The purported death of officer Sicknick’s death in the hands of Trump Supporters is yet another media hoax that is contradicted by evidence from the medical examiner which conclusively proves that officer Sicknick died of natural courses. These are hallmarks of America’s corporate media during Trump’s presidency. A trademark they seem to have proudly adopted and a tradition they still adhere to.

9 months later, many of the January 6th detainees are being held without bail and without due process. The justice department has failed to produce a single shred of evidence of a planned insurrection and have petitioned the courts for more time to gather evidence. The Speaker of the house has refused to release over 14,000 hrs of video footage from the Capitol of the riot that may be used to either convict or exonerate the detainees. Not one soul has been charged with insurrection or sedition which are actual crimes. During the Antifa & BLM riots last year, 2,735 rioters were charged with felony charges. Most of these charges if not all were dropped. The Major Cities Police Chiefs Association report cites an unwillingness amongst government prosecutors to proceed with the charges. Many of these violent offenders went on to be arrested and re-arrested over and over with no consequence. I’m willing to posit that the unwillingness to pursue criminal charges was due to prosecutors sympathising with whatever cause these looters, anarchists and agitators claimed to be a part of. It would seem that ideology and politics trumped due process and law and order. They seem to be detained indefinitely, having their basic rights abused yet many Americans celebrate this gross miscarriage of justice simply because the political cause these rioters were rioting for doesn’t align with their own ideology. Some of the charges levelled against the January 6th detainees include “parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a capitol building.” This is a particular highlight because this is no different to what the protestors did during the Kavanaugh Confirmation Hearings in response to the vile Kavanaugh Gang Rape Hoax. Surprisingly, those who have condemned the unlawful detention of many of these detainees aren’t the country’s leadership and in particular the “prominent voices” of the conservative movement in America. Part of the reason may be because to be seen to be standing up for the rights of criminals, especially those who have falsely been accused of staging an insurrection, is to be seen to be in support of their actions on January 6th. A stark contrast with how BLM & Antifa rioters were treated during the Summer of 2020 violent riots which took place across American Cities. By one estimate from the Property Claim Services, a division of Verisk Analytics, the damage from the 2020 riots would cost insurers more than 1 billion dollars in insurance losses. BLM & Antifa were celebrated as freedom fighters. Then Vice Presidential Hopeful Kamala Harris came out in support of the Minnesota bail fund, a fund set up to raise bail for violent rioters arrested during the riots in Minnesota. Criminals ran rampant and terrorised Cities because the justice department seemed to sympathise with their cause. Fast forward to today and republican law makers and other leaders of the conservative movement in America have maintained their silence over the unjust treatment of January 6th detainees. Most surprising of all, former President Trump, who has spoken out about election shenanigans at almost every opportunity he has had still remains quiet about their fate. He is the leader of the Republican Party and the face of the conservative movement in America, for better or for worse. These rioters engaged in criminal activity. Like any criminal they deserve equal and fair treatment under the law. Not punitive, unconstitutional pre-trial detention.
The fact that many “prominent voices” within the conservative movement were unaware of the origins of the rally and falsely ascribed it to intelligence agencies is a damning indictment on their lack of leadership on the issue. It would also seem that conservative movement has become what they’ve accused the liberals in America of being: an echo chamber of ideas and ideology, often false.
In the absence of any clear leadership on the issue, Look Ahead America, headed by Matt Braynard took up this cause to fight for the equal and fair treatment of the January 6th detainees. Look Ahead America has staged several protests in support of the January 6th detainees. In late August, after being repeatedly ignored by American authorities they took their plight to the United Nations Human Rights Committee in New York. A protest that involved limited publicity but one that was significant nonetheless and one in which there were able to file a formal complaint. All of these prior protests culminated in the #justiceforj6 rally on Saturday the 18th of September at ground zero. Where it all started. What followed was the usual American corporate media circus. False stories of unknown origin about violence at the upcoming rally circulated in the media circuit. Speaker Pelosi, not to be outdone by the ensuing theatre, authorised the erection of barriers at the Capitol in preparation for violence that would never come. What goes unmentioned is that non of the previous rallies had had any incidences of violence. This appears to have been nothing more than political manoeuvring to whip up the American public into a frenzy and to distract from the main purpose of the rally. However, something even more unusual happened, “prominent voices” within the conservative movement seemed to have lent a significant helping hand to this madness. Rumours of the rally being a false flag event populated the social media feeds of many within the conservative movement. Many encouraged their followers not to attend the rally as it was seen as a set up to entrap more conservatives by embedded intelligence agency agents in their midst. As many within the conservative movement latched on to this false narrative, they served only to undercut the actual purpose of the rally. It would appear that Speaker Pelosi’s greatest ally wasn’t America’s corporate media, it was American conservatives. Ignorance, brought about by a conservative echo chamber, became a self arming bomb that went off at the most inconvenient of times. While it is reasonable to suspect that they may have been federal agency infiltrators in the midst of the attendees of the rally, it does seem that non of them were part of the 450 who actually attended in support of the cause. There was no violence as predicted by the corporate media. It does seem that rally attendees were well informed and prepared for any eventuality. All arrived home safely after the event per Matt Braynard, executive director of Look Ahead America.

Joe Kent, a veteran and congressional hopeful for Washington State’s third district, speaking at the rally , made mention of how America had enacted impartial justice in their adventurism in the Middle East. These doctrines of hate and failure seem to have then been imported wholesale and are now being actively used against American citizens.
The overreaction by those on the right and the “prominent voices” of the conservative movement does however raise another troubling issue. America is a de facto police state. It’s a horrible indictment on the FBI, CIA and other federal agencies when a significant portion of the populace automatically assumes that their agents will infiltrate their causes to stir up violence and cause chaos for political gain. The Department of Justice in march issued an assessment on purported domestic terrorism in a bid to fight it. The criteria for one to be suspected of being a domestic terrorist ranges from simply questioning the unconstitutional lock downs, vaccine mandates and the results of last year’s presidential election. Nearly half of Americans believe that last year’s election was stolen. This is mainly along party lines but still a significant chunk of the American populace. Many of those questioning the efficacy of the lockdowns and other measures taken to combat the spread of the CCP virus are conservatives. In essence, it does seem that the American justice system is being weaponised against one side of the ideological aisle in America. A small microcosm of this weaponisation is the disparate treatment of the January 6th Capitol Hill rioters compared to the BLM and Antifa looters, thugs and anarchists during the summer of 2020. It beggars belief that American leadership, in particular, conservative leadership has done nothing to battle this gross miscarriage of justice. The treatment of the January 6th political detainees may be the canary in the coal mine of what is yet to be unleashed on an unsuspecting American populace. This may not even be along ideological lines, it may simply be being in opposition to and vocal against government positions on various issues. This dystopian future may not yet be here but it looms closer with each passing day. The only question is whether these “prominent voices” amongst conservatives will be collaborators, perhaps unwittingly, or part of the resistance. An enemy within. Totally unsuspected yet key to kneecapping progress towards freedom and liberty just as they did for the #justiceforj6 rally.
