Freaks And Monsters Turned Fake Kings And False Gods
Early in March this year, a then unknown 21 year old American airman, Jack Teixera, leaked classified Pentagon documents on a discord server. This was picked up by Russian telegram channels who helped amplify their reach. These were then in turn picked up by corporate mainstream media. As the leaks and reports of the leaks widely circulated on twitter, the Pentagon responded by suggesting that twitter take them down. This helped lend an air of credibility to some of the information contained therein. For those outside the corridors of mainstream media narratives, much of this information was unsurprising. To many in the general public the information seemed at odds with mainstream media reports of the war in Ukraine. Drowned out in the cacophony that ensued was one disturbing truth: The White House and Pentagon have no insight into actual Ukrainian casualty numbers and seem to have no proper control of what the Ukrainian Army does in spite of being the leading benefactors of this war. Naturally, the usual riffraff associated with America’s criminal intelligence agencies was present in the leaks: spying not only on deemed state enemies but also their purported allies. For many, Ukraine has been winning this war. In reality the situation on the ground is dire and the outlook grim. In response to the leaks a rabid and alert corporate media apparatus moved swiftly to identify the leaker. Self-deputised deep state bounty hunters the New York Times and Washington Post, in tandem with NATO propaganda cutout Bellingcat, worked swiftly to identify the 21 year old airman responsible for the leaks. While there are still a lot of unanswered questions, none of the media outlets who parroted government propaganda about these leaks being of Russian origin have retracted their lies. One New York Times writer admitted that if the documents had been leaked to the paper of record they would have worked to protect the leaker. This is doubtful however as the New York Times has published significant propaganda and nonsense about this war and does appear to be in lock and step with the American government’s messaging.

On homeland soil controversy has erupted over American beer maker Anheuser Busch. The root of the controversy stems from the affiliation of the brand with Dylan Mulvaney, a man who has chosen to identify as a woman. The elevation of pro-trans propaganda by American corporations has reached record highs and this may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back. The backlash has been swift and unrelenting. While the boycott of the beer maker’s products has been led by many avowed American conservatives, some in the non-woke left have responded by labelling this a non trivial issue related to America’s ongoing culture war. The American tragedy is that it is a country perpetually at war, often with itself. Some of these wars waged on actual battlefields with foreign adversaries, others waged in the ideological spheres that permeate American life. While the ideological wars may not have an immediate and apparent impact on the nation they do nonetheless have an impact that at times pours into actual wars. Part of the blindness of some in the non-woke left and even avowed conservatives is failing to realise that often multiple fronts have to be opened on the same battlefields. Each battle serving its purpose and each victory worth pursuing.

As many leaders the world over have weighed in on the war in Ukraine, very few of them have actually denounced the determined effort to have a forever war by America and its NATO allies. President Lula of Brazil has been rather vocal about the endless supply of armaments to Ukraine which seem to disappear into the ether. Ukraine is being obliterated and its most ardent supporters are in reality cheering on its destruction. Ukraine may end up being the next Libya. Completely abandoned to radical elements who will carve up the country for themselves. The endless cheerleading for war has brought Ukraine and its supporters to an untenable position: Re-acquisiton of Crimea and the Eastern parts of Ukraine annexed by the Russian army last year. This expectation has been set and massaged into the hearts of many through the endless propaganda about how the actual war on the ground is going. Sooner or later President Volodymir Zelensky may have to act on these expectations. While former President Trump has been adamant in calling for an immediate cessation of fighting in Ukraine and a negotiated peace deal, his pride in committing past war crimes has garnered him some criticism. Trump has been very vocal in calling out the “freaks and monsters” of America’s reckless foreign policy class who let this tragedy befall Ukraine. However, he is also implicated in instigating this current crisis. He armed Ukraine and has publicly castigated former President Obama for “giving them pillows” as opposed to armaments. Meanwhile, the media have crowned themselves kings aiding and abetting the “freaks and monsters” who’ve turned false gods beholden to no man or authority. A law unto themselves and a plague upon us all.
