The Art Of Misdirection
HOW CHEAP DISTRACTIONS HELP MASK THE MISDEEDS OF A PROTECTED CRIMINAL CLASS
One of the most powerful aces up the media’s sleeve is its ability to pull off disappearing acts. Magicking out of existence worthwhile stories all the while distracting the general populace with non-stories. It’s not only a conjurer of cheap parlour tricks but a well run circus. One filled with clowns capable of juggling several non-issues at the same time holding captive the attention of a gullible public. In reality, the major stories of the day go ignored as mainstream media runs interference for a corrupt criminal class in Washington. In early February, veteran journalist Seymour Hersh published an exposé revealing the macabre machinations of America’s foreign policy class and their alleged involvement in the bombing of the underwater Nord Stream II pipeline. For most who have chosen to reside outside the corridors of mainstream media coverage, this report came as no surprise. While British media ran highly imaginative and creative propaganda pieces about how the pipeline was taken out by Russian elements, independent voices pointed out the obvious. This was most likely an act of sabotage by a reckless and potentially criminal foreign policy class in America. The Hersh article serves to breath life into this highly probable theory. It fleshes out the story and adds a colourful cast of characters to go along with it. While both the CIA and White House have issued vehement denials over any involvement in the bombing hoax, an uncomfortable silence has settled in as the media has refused to cover the story. Publications such as Business Insider have chosen to libel Hersh as an inconsequential conspiracy theorist. Writing for the Insider, Mia Jankowiz claims that Seymour is a discredited journalist whose story has been gleefully endorsed by Russia. In reality, Hersh has broken some of the most consequential stories of the past few decades including the My Lai massacre cover-up by America’s military apparatus during the Vietnam war. Over the past few years, Business Insider has specialised in trafficking in nonsense and fairytales and was swept up in the tsunami of hoaxes that proliferated during the Trump years. Interesting to note that there has been very little interest from lawmakers in America in pursuing this. The current inhabitant of the Whitehouse allegedly made a unilateral decision to carry out an act of international terrorism without express approval or knowledge of congress. Fortunately, they can rely on a media that runs interference for America’s powerful institutions and thus can safely ignore this debacle for the time being.

In early February, a train carrying hazardous chemical materials derailed in East Palestine, Ohio. Reportedly, the EPA and railway company responsible made a decision to ignite the harmful chemicals releasing what appears to be a cloud of toxic gases into the atmosphere. Internet users have taken to referring to the incident as America’s mini Chernobyl. America’s Secretary of Transport, Pete Buttigiege, only recently commented on the crisis after nearly two weeks of silence. There has been an unusually prolonged silence over the disaster on mainstream media circuits. It does seem that outlets have chosen to focus on Mayor Pete’s comments about the construction industry being dominated by men of caucasian ethnicity instead. A welcome battle cry to the diversity warriors who seem to have filled America’s newsrooms. In the past, the Secretary of Transport claimed that racism is built into America’s highways. This is buffoonery masquerading as a championing of rights for those who are perceived oppressed. Meanwhile actual issues affecting everyday Americans are ignored for the parlour tricks of identity politics. This is a disaster for an administration treading water and a Transport Secretary who seems to be facing one crisis after the other. However, they escape scrutiny as corporate media runs a protection racket shielding them from public scrutiny. This may turn out to be one of the worst ecological disasters in recent American history yet the media has chosen not to cover it.
Lawmakers are not immune to these tricks. Some, perhaps desiring to believe, have been swept up in the X-files euphoria sweeping through the nation. It does seem that many have forgotten that the Pentagon hasn’t won any major victories over the past few decades. The Afghanistan humiliation should still be fresh in the minds of many Americans.

Over the past week, the Pentagon has claimed to have shot down UFOs over North American airspace. While the media has been the winds in the sails of this UFO hoax, they seem to not have had any breathe left to cover other important issues. Blowing smoke with these worthless distractions that keep the general public entertained while America’s reckless foreign policy class baits World War III. However, as America’s foreign policy class and their allies in Brussels are actively seeking confrontation with a nuclear super power all is forgiven and forgotten as the media quickly ushered the public past the chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal. Meanwhile, in Eastern Europe Ukraine and its citizens are being reduced to rubble. The media have turned into merchants of death as they effectively lobby congress for more money for defence contractors. Trading the lives and blood of Ukrainians and Russians for the profits of America’s Military Industrial Complex. In fairness, the devastating Earthquake that has rocked Syria and Turkey has received significant attention from the media. However, America’s crippling sanctions on Syria go unmentioned as they have become a hindrance to aid delivery to the beleaguered nation. The New York Times in a brief moment of honesty published similar sentiments to only shortly after change its article to reflect prevailing state propaganda about Syria. A nation wrecked by the recklessness of America’s foreign policy class in their failed regime change hoax. Corporate media has mastered the art of misdirection. Repeatedly funnelling public attention elsewhere while issues that merit more attention go ignored.
